Robert Mikkelsen Robert Mikkelsen- project owner, team leader and supervisor. He does his best to get the students to do all the work. Robert Mikkelsen is supported by others teachers at the Mech. Eng. Dept.

Mac Gaunaa Mac Gaunaa- supervisor. He is the rotor aerodynamic wizard of the team. Employed at DTU-Riso as senior researcher.

Thomas Buhl Thomas Buhl- supervisor. He is engaged in vehicle mechanics, shroud making, project planning and web-stuff. Employed at DTU-Riso as senior researcher.

Witold Skrzypinski Witold Skrzypinski- designing a rotor for the vehicle. BEM based optimization of the chord, twist, pitch, Tip Speed Ratio and Number of Blades. Optimization based on maximum propelling force concept.

Rune H Jensen Rune H Jensen- his responsibilites are chassis design, transmission design and construction, tower (nacelle), rotor hub including pitch and self-yawing system. He is also making sure that everyone's projects fits together.

Other people involved in Wind Turbine Project:

  • Teachers from MEK: Jens Sørensen, Martin O.L. Harsen
  • Risø researchers: Christian Bak (Aerodynamics, airfoil and rotor design) Michael Rasmussen (Mechanical designer) Bjarne Kallesøe (mechanical stuff) Frederik Zahle(Computational Aerodynamics CFD) Morten H. Hansen (Stability and wind turbine geek)
